Issuer — an organization that issues (emits) securities for development and financing its activities.

Nominal holding of securities — the performance on behalf and at the expense of holders of securities of certain legal actions in accordance with a nominal holding agreement or in accordance with this Law, as well as accounting and confirmation of rights on securities and registration of transactions with securities of such holders

Central Securities Depository JSC is a company that stores and accounts for assets.

Custodian is a professional participant of the securities market, accounts and confirms clients’ financial instruments and money and  reaffirmation of the rights on them, storing documentary financial instruments of clients with assuming obligations for their preservation and other activities in accordance with legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The key difference between a broker and a dealer is that the broker makes deals at the expense and on behalf of the client, and the dealer makes deals at their own expense and on their own behalf. The broker takes a commission from his client for its services, the dealer, in turn, receives income from the difference (spread) between the price of buying and selling.

The client’s assets are stored on the client’s subaccount at the Central Securities Depository, except for securities that are listed on international stock exchanges, which are stored in the custodian bank account.

A regulator is an organization that ensures that everything happens legally on the stock market. In the Kazakhstan market, these functions are performed by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Opening a brokerage account is carried out within one working day from the moment of receiving documents from the client.

The client can transfer funds by non-cash transfer from any bank account using the details that he receives when opening a brokerage account. Also, automatic top up of brokerage accounts is provided through the First Heartland Jýsan Bank JSC “Jýsan24” mobile application.

Frequently Asked Questions About Investment Fund

A mutual investment fund is a form of collective investment in which investors are owners of shares in the fund’s assets. The management is carried out by a professional participant in the securities market – the asset management company.

The asset management company is engaged in the management of clients’ assets, according to a predetermined investment declaration. The asset management company, as well as other participants of the financial market, must obtain the appropriate license from the National Bank.

A share is a registered security certifying the share of its owner in the ownership of a property constituting a mutual investment fund, the right to require the asset management company to have proper trust management of the mutual investment fund, the right to receive monetary compensation upon termination of the trust management agreement of the mutual investment fund with all owners of investment shares of this mutual investment fund.

After all filled documents, as well as copies of the necessary documents are provided to employees of the company or its representatives, the client pays the cost of purchased shares. The registrar will open a personal account in the name of the client. After the custodian’s bank confirms the receipt of money, the asset management company issues an order to the registrar to transfer the shares.

The client must understand that he bears all risks when investing. Therefore, it is important to determine the level of acceptable risk that the client can assume and take into account when determining the investment declaration with the Asset Management Company.

All commissions for managing an investment mutual fund, as well as commissions of third-party organizations, are already included in the share price.
